Agreement with Qatar to import LNG to be signed soon: Shahid Khaqan

ISLAMABAD: Petroleum Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi says an agreement will be signed with Qatar shortly to import 200 mmcfd LNG.

Addressing a news conference, he said import of LNG will save around one billion dollars annually.

He said second terminal of LNG would be set up at Gwadar port.

The Minister said country needs around 800 mmcfd LNG.
