Bears rule KSE as 100-index loses 212 pts

KARACHI: Bearish trend continued in the Karachi Stock Exchange on Friday as 100-index witnessed variation, however it lost 212.58 points to reach 33,530.30 level as compared to 33,742.88 of the previous session.


The country’s biggest stock market recorded highest trading level of 33742.88 points and lowest level of 33584.98 points, with the total volume of 30,670,990 shares and having Rs2,152,360,275 value.

On Thursday, bears dominated the stock market and benchmark KSE-100 Index declined by 96.40 points or 0.3pc to close at 33,742.88 points level.

POL rose 1.4 continued its euphoric growth following its recent discovery of hydrocarbon reserves and recovery in global oil prices.

Netsol reached its upper circuit on rumours of the company is likely to get hefty contracts from Chinese based firms following its transmission to next generation system.
