Commuters demands cut in transport fares

ISLAMABAD: Commuters demanded cut in transport fares as transporters have not reduced fare on inter-city and intra-city routes despite massive cut in petrol and diesel prices.

The revised prices have set the total at Rs 62.77 per litre for petrol while at Rs 71.12 for high speed diesel.

The price of high octane has also been reduced by Rs 3 per litre while the PM rejected recommendation seeking reduction in kerosene oil price.
