CPPA urges NEPRA to cut power prices by Rs 1.35 paisa/unit

ISLAMABAD: Central Power Purchasing Agency (CCPA) on Saturday has asked the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) to cut electricity prices by Rs 1.35 per unit.

The appeal was done in the terms of fuel adjustment of April month.

CCPA stated that the power cost in April was Rs 6.30 paisa/unit but the customers paid Rs 7.62 paisa/unit.

According to the details, NEPRA would hold a hearing over the matter on June 8 in Islamabad.
