ISLMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar says Pakistan is committed to engaging with development partners to improve linkages with neighbors.
He was talking to the visiting Director General Central West Asia Department of Asian Development Bank Sean O’ Sullivan, in Islamabad last evening.
The Minister lauded ADB for its financial support to Pakistan during flood emergency and in various power projects in Sindh and Balochistan.
On this occasion, Sean O’ Sullivan said progress made by Pakistan in attaining macro-economic stability is highly commendable.
He said IMF and other International Institutions have also endorsed the progress and macro-economic stability of Pakistan.
Referring to China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, he appreciated government’s efforts for promoting regional connectivity. It will prove a milestone in regional development.
