Govt cuts petroleum prices by Rs 3/litre

ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Monday rejected a summary of Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) to slash the prices of petroleum products by Rs7 per litre.

Federal Petroleum Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi announced that oil price would come down by Rs3 per litre.

The new prices will be applicable for a period of one month from midnight.

According to Abbasi, prices of both petrol and diesel have been decreased by Rs3 per litre.
