Finance Minister Ishaq Dar says the government is firmly pursuing the goal of economic growth and employment generation after attaining macro-economic stability.
Talking to a delegation of National Management College in Islamabad, he said apart from due focus on economy, the government is also paying full attention on development of energy sector and countering terrorism.
He said the government is determined to achieve six to seven percent growth rate within its tenure.
He said all the macro-economic indicators are positive. Forex reserves stand at over twenty billion dollars and inflation rate is under three percent. He said revenue generation increased by eighteen percent during the current fiscal year.
