ISLAMABAD: Chairman Board of Investment Miftah Ismail says the government would soon announce a policy on solar power projects.
He was talking to ex-Chairman PEMRA Mushtaq Malik and CEO of a French Company ENGIE Raphael Colas in Islamabad on Monday.
The Chairman said that government is planning to set up 1000 MW installed capacity of solar plants in Quaid e Azam Solar Park of which 300MW has already been installed. He said Sindh too has plans to produce solar power.
The CEO of German company said they are keen to install solar power plants in Punjab.
