ISLAMABAD: The government has released over sixty eight point two four billion rupees for different social sector developmental projects under Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) 2015-16.
According to latest data released by the Planning Commission of Pakistan, the government released fourteen point six five billion rupees for Higher Education Commission (HEC).
Another fourteen point one seven billion rupees have released for infrastructure development projects under National Highway Authority.
Meanwhile, a sum of 7.810 billion rupees has released for uplift and improvement of the services of Railways Division.
Under PSDP, five point nine four billion rupees have been released for different projects of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination Division.
The government has released about six hundred million rupees for National Food Security and Research Division.
Over twenty three billion rupees have been released for WAPDA to overcome the shortage of energy in the country.
