ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has been ranked among top five Asian countries in terms of overall national production.
India is on number one in terms of GDP with a GDP rate of 7.5 percent and its GDP rate would reach to 8.1 percent in 2016. China is on number two with a GDP rate of 6.9 percent, while Philippines ranked third, Vietnam on fourth, while Pakistan has come on fifth position with a GDP rate of 5.7 percent.
According to Finance Ministry, Pakistan has been included among 20 countries with rising economic growth. Pakistan’s GDP rate is likely to reach by 5.7 percent at the end of current fiscal year and GDP target is likely to keep more than five percent for next fiscal year.
