Reserves at $18.71bn: SBP

KARACHI: The country’s total liquid foreign exchange reserves stood at $18.714 billion during the week ending July 3 compared to $18.201bn the previous week, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said on Thursday.

The SBP reserves increased by $447 million to $13.535bn from $13.088bn, and the other banks’ holdings were $5.179bn as compared to $5.113bn.

The increase is mainly attributed to the receipts of $514m from multilateral and bilateral sources, which includes $506m from IMF under EFF.
