ISLAMABAD: Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea will spend five hundred million dollars in Pakistan on different projects including hydel energy, basic infrastructure, Information Technology and Health. An agreement to this effect was signed in Islamabad today.
Speaking on the occasion, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar appreciated the Korean support for different projects and said this will further promote bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
He said Korea has also evinced interest in establishing a technology park in the country.
The Korean Ambassador, in his remarks, said his country will provide all possible assistance for development of Pakistan.
