World Bank approves $500m for economic reforms

ISLAMABAD: The Board of Executive Directors of World Bank at a meeting has approved 500 million dollars for Pakistan.

Pakistan will formally sign the Financing Agreement with the World Bank in Islamabad tomorrow.

After agreement the World Bank will provide 500 million dollars to Pakistan in a single tranche.

The Bank support will assist Pakistan in carrying out the critical economic structural reforms initiated by the government to accelerate and reinvigorate inclusive growth in the country.
