ISLAMABAD: Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar says he is looking forward to World Bank Board meeting in next month which would consider the case for release of Development Policy Credit Loan for Energy Sector of Pakistan.
He was talking to the World Bank Country Director Patchamuthu Illangovan in Islamabad .
The World Bank official said the Bank would continue to finance different projects in Pakistan.
He said the World Bank is ready to offer any assistance needed for relief activities in the wake of recent quake in Pakistan.
Acting US Ambassador to Pakistan, Jonathan Pratt also called on the Finance Minister.
The Finance Minister said both Pakistan and the United States value the bilateral relationship and in future also steps will be taken to further improve the working relationship between the two countries.
