Aamir Khan to do Thug after Dangal, role on the lines of Rangeela

MUMBAI: B-town’s Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan has recently disclosed that soon after the release of his biographical sports drama, Dangal, he will commence filming for Vijay Krishna Acharya’s Thug.

In Dangal, the 51-year-old actor will be seen playing a father to teenage girls. His role in Thug would be lighter, with shades of his Rangeela character.

As per reports, the role was initially offered to Hrithik Roshan, but due to his demand for changes in the script, the deal couldn’t work out.

Later, the director approached the Ghajini actor with a tweaked script. Aamir, who is known for taking ages to decide on a movie, reportedly said yes immediately after going through the storyline.

Even as Dangal starring Aamir Khan is months away from releasing, the movie doesn’t falter when it comes to keeping social media abuzz with pictures, posters, and whatnot. It seems this perfectionist Khan has found a new way to promote his films. Any new information on social media is more than enough to keep viewers on their toes.

Recently Aamir Khan was spotted shooting at a suburban studio, revealing his new funky look. In a blink of an eye, the picture was splattered all over the social media. We saw Aamir in the Dangal poster (remember, where he is posing with his four wrestler daughter) as a hefty muscular wrestler from Haryana ( inspired by Mahavir Singh Phogat ).

However, he has donned a completely modern look for the promotional song for Dangal. Aamir has effortlessly carried this look, kohled eyes completing his rough edgy look with earrings, bands, rings and other accessories. We can only wonder if this rugged look is for imitating a desi rapper or a firangi vagabond. Time will only reveal that.
