Director Michael Bay shared the first look of the loyal guardian on Twitter.

The fifth “Transformers” movie is scheduled to release on June 23, 2017.

Mark Wahlberg is returning as the lead, making his second appearance in the franchise after his debut in “Transformers: Age of Extinction”. Peter Cullen is back as the voice of Optimus Prime.

Josh Duhamel from the original trilogy is set to reprise his role as Lieutenant Colonel William Lennox and co-star Tyrese Gibson is back as Richard Epps.

Anthony Hopkins is tapped to star in a mystery role.

After revealing the official title and first look at the fifth “Transformers” movie, Paramount unveiled a cryptic teaser to kick start the viral marketing campaign earlier this year.

“Something wicked this way comes,” read a message accompanying the beeping promo, which features a torn up file from the US State Department.

The cast includes Mark Wahlberg as Cade Yeager, Josh Duhamel as Lieutenant Colonel Lennox, and Isabela Moner.

The film is followed by “Transformers 6” on June 8, 2018, and “Transformers 7” on June 28, 2019.

Michael Bay’s ‘Transformer: Age Of Extinction’ became the second film in the Transformers franchise to cross the billion dollar mark, following ‘Dark Of The Moon in 2011’. It crossed USD 1 billion at the box office, including its USD 241.2 million domestic and USD 763.8 million international collection.
