Chennai based cafe honour Rajnikanth by making chocolate statue of him

CHENNAI: A local cafe in the city decided to honour Rajinikanth by making a 600 kg chocolate statue of him.

Talk about witnessing the sweet side of Rajinikanth. The South Indian acting legend who has never ceased to amaze and enthuse audiences in Asia, won his Padma Vibhushan award yesterday, along with Sania Mirza and Priyanka Chopra. However, the accolades did not stop for Rajinikanth when a Chennai-based cafe dedicated a 600 kg chocolate statue to him!

Srinath Balachandran, the owner of the cafe Zuka, decided to unveil the chocolate statue when Rajinikanth won the prestigious Indian award and completed forty years in the Indian film industry.

The six foot statue which also weighs 600 kg in chocolate, took two weeks to make. The owner of the cafe revealed that the decision to make such a statue was arrived at after conducting an online poll survey.
