FIR filed against Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ranveer Singh

Sanjay Leela Bhansali seems to be facing yet another series of legal issues. This time around, however, it has nothing to do with the content of Bajirao Mastani, instead, it is against the filmmaker and the actor of his film Ranveer Singh for an alleged assault.

An FIR has been registered against Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ranveer Singh after the bouncers of their film allegedly mistreated a Pune based lawyer Wajid Khan.

According to Wajid, while he had visited Rajwada in Bhor for some personal work, he was manhandled by some bouncers on the sets of the film.

Apparenlty whilst he was trying to make a way amidst the shoot that was happening around government offices, Sanjay Leela Bhansali who spotted him screamed saying ‘yeh kale coat wala kaun hai’ (who is the one in the black coat).

Before Wajid could respond to the comment and clarify that he wasn’t there to disturb the shoot or see it, he was apparently grabbed by the coat by the bouncers around. He also claimed that Ranveer Singh too shouted saying that such people should not be allowed to enter the set. Wajid Khan has filed an FIR under section 324, 504 and 506 of IPC against Ranveer Singh and Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

However, sources from the crew have a different story to tell. They claim that a few people were politely asked to leave the sets in order to avoid chaos but asserted that no one was mistreated during the process.
