Pakistani actress Saba Qamar, who is all set to make her Bollywood debut opposite actor Irrfan Khan in an upcoming untitled film, says the story of the film is a “little like” Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone starrer Hindi film “Piku”.
The actress, whose performance as Noor in the film “Manto” was widely appreciated, will be directed for her Bollywood launchpad by Saket Chaudhary, who has earlier helmed film like “Pyaar Ke Side Effects” and “Shaadi Ke Side Effects”.
“It’s a family-oriented story of a husband and wife. It has a young, fresh vibe and the wife is a little dominating. People will surely like it,” Saba said.
“The film is a little like that Deepika film, ‘Piku’,” she added.
For the shooting of the film, which is set to begin in August, Saba will go to India.
