KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers Sindh on Monday said that 152 dangerous terrorists were killed in 169 targeted actions in the city since January this year.
According to a Rangers spokesperson, 169 targeted actions were conducted during this period in which 4,074 suspects were arrested. He said 2,198 accused, including 887 terrorists, 268 target killers, 97 extortionists and 49 kidnappers for ransom were handed over to police for investigations.
The spokespersons said 2,765 weapons of different calibres, including machine guns, light machine guns, sniper rifles and pistols were recovered during raids. He said 12 Rangers’ officials embraced martyrdom, while 20 others injured during targeted actions of the paramilitary force.
He said Rangers also recovered 18 kidnapped people during the period.
