KARACHI: Prime Minister’s Advisor on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz on Saturday has said that 95 percent of Operation Zarb-e-Azb has been accomplished as all the hideouts of terrorists are demolished completely.
Addressing a Foreign Minister forum in a private university of Karachi, Sartaj Aziz said that atleast 60,000 Pakistanis have sacrificed their lives in the war against terrorism.
He said that border violations have increased during Narendra Modi’s government.
Talking about Pakistan’s foreign policy, Sartaj Aziz was of the view that in the past ten years the policy has witnessed much fluctuation.
He stressed that foreign policy is made in view of the internal situation whereas for a balanced foreign policy, the country should be stable at both economic and political level.
Former Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar also spoke on this occasion and said that friends and enemies both exist in the region where Pakistan is situated whereas it is necessary to keep in view the situation of India and Afghanistan while making foreign policy.
