SUKKUR: Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah said that agencies and government were aware of Mustafa Kamal’s allegations.
Addressing a press conference at Sukkur on Sunday, he said that Kamal’s statements will have an impact on MQM, adding that the former Karachi mayor may also have support of other MQM leaders.
“If there is no corruption in Punjab, why is the provincial government so scared?” he questioned.
He alleged that Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif could not prevent his ministers from carrying out corruption.
To a question, he said that Pakistan must go to India to play World Twenty20 if security assurance was given.
“We favour good ties with India. But if the Indian government doesn’t desire so, we should revisit our policy,” he added.
