LAHORE: Addressing a press conference on Sunday, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid said that Sharif family is a family of hard workers who have been exiled for 3 generations.

Mentioning Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Qamar Zaman Kaira, he said that Sharif family has already faced an audit during Benazir Bhutto (late) and Musharraf’s reign.

Mian Sharif started steel business in 1936 and thousands of workers used to work at his mill, he added. He also said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s children are not living abroad by choice but by force as they were refused to apply or issue Pakistani passport.
