ATC issues notice on Amir Khan’s bail plea

KARACHI: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Karachi has adjourned the hearing of detained Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) member Amir Khan’s case who is charged of harboring and supporting terrorists.

According to details, Amir Khan was presented before the court amid tight security.

The court while adjourning the hearing, issued notice to special public prosecutor for June 26 on the bail petition of Amir Khan.

While talking to media outside the court, Amir Khan stated that MQM had faced such operation in the past however; the party possesses ability to confront every sort of situation in the leadership of MQM chief Altaf Hussain.
