FAISALABAD: Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah slammed PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and other political opponents by slamming them for demanding accountability from PM Nawaz.
After offering Eid prayers in Faisalabad at Jamia Madni Masjid located at Samanabad, Sanaullah said that those who were trying to cause a rouse up the masses would not succeed. He stated that people standing left and right with PTI chief Imran Khan were up to their necks in corruption.
“The masses are aware that their function is not to end corruption in the country but cause anarchy and chaos,” he said. “To hold accountability of the corrupt is not the government’s job, it is NAB’s,” he added.
He also said that people were now aware of the reality hence the same level of enthusiasm would not be witnessed now on containers. Rana Sanaullah said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the country would progress and develop.
Regarding Awami Muslim League chairman Sheikh Rasheed, Rana Sanaullah said he was a cheap and wretched politician. He said that each year and on every Eid, Rasheed would issue predictions about the government being sacked yet when the same did not happen, he refused to show some shame.
Sanaullah said that those who were talking about accountability should first look at themselves. He termed PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari as a ‘corruption baby’ and said that he was brought up on corruption money. He said Bilawal was also the owner of properties which had been bought with corruption and looted money worth billions.
