Blackmailing will not hamper Karachi operation: Abid Sher Ali

FAISALABAD: Minister of state for Water and Power, Abid Sher Ali on Sunday said that blackmailing and use of political influence would not be allowed to hamper the ongoing operation in Karachi.

Talking to media persons here, Abid said Rangers did not get extension in policing powers as a result of possible ill-intention of Sindh government.

Ali advised the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) to remember the martyrdom of its leader Benazir Bhutto, saying blood of martyrs would not go waste.

The minister said Karachi operation against criminal elements would be expedited.
