Bus, car collision in Faisalabad claims five lives

FAISALABAD: Five members of a family lost their lives in a collision between bus and car in Faisalabad on Saturday.

According to details, the car crashed with the bus near Motorway Interchange Deputy Wala. The incident occurred as the bus driver fell asleep while driving the vehicle.

The family was returning to their home from Lahore airport after performing Umrah.

The deceased include 65-year-old Parveen, 51-year-old Saqib, 75-year-old Ashraf, 34-year-old Subhan and 44-year-old Sufyan.

Chief Minister (CM) Punjab expressed grief and sorrow over the incident and has summoned a report regarding the accident from the authorities.
