LAHORE: Cable operator association announced to protest against Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) on Tuesday.
According to details, head of all Pakistan cable operator association, captain Jabbar had demanded from Punjab govt to revoke tax levied on cable operators. He warned that if the govt doesn’t negotiate, the broadcasts will be shunned on Thursday.
All Pakistan cable operator association’s head, captain (R) Jabbar, in press club today said that Shahbaz Sharif, Chief Minister Punjab must take notice of tax imposed on cable operators. Punjab revenue authority is trying to grab cable operators.
Cable operator association leaders cautioned Punjab govt that broadcasts will be shunned on Thursday as a symbolic protest. And if the demands were not met then protest will be extended countrywide.
Moreover, cable operator leader said that public was being notified of the closing of broadcasts in anticipation.
