RAWALPINDI: Federal Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, said on Tuesday that cases pursued by the government against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Altaf Hussain were legal, and not political.

“The government has no issue with MQM and no personal enmity with Altaf.

The situation is worsened by his foul language… We are preparing a legal reference to file in UK against provocative speeches of Altaf Hussain,” he said while speaking to media persons in Rawalpindi.

“All cases pursued by the government against Altaf are legal, and not political,” the minister said in his media talk at Rawalpindi Police Lines.
