KARACHI: Adviser to the Chief Minister Sindh on Information Maula Bux Chandio on Saturday said the provincial government welcomes accountability but cannot accept victimization.

Pointing to the arrests of Islamic State (Daesh) affiliated terrorists in Punjab, Chandio said that it not acceptable that the terrorists are being arrested in Punjab but action is being conducted in Sindh.

Speaking to the media after attending a ceremony in Hyderabad, Chandio criticized the Federal Government stating that while the center may keep a close watch on Sindh it should also hold itself accountable. He further added that the PPP does not have any enmity with the ruling PMLN.

He told journalists that while the Federal Government and its prominent ministers have claimed time and again that there is no presence of Daesh (Islamic State) in Pakistan then how is possible that Daesh militants and affiliates are being arrested in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Chandio remarked that those who have admitted things that others are being forced to admit should also be focused upon under the National Action Plan otherwise it will raise questions on NAP.
