ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar is all set to hold important press conference in Islamabad today (Wednesday).
The minister would address the newsmen at Punjab House at 5pm.
Key issues including Panama leaks, money laundering and overall security situation would be discussed while the matter of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) rally in F-9 Park on April 24 would also be highlighted.
Earlier, Nisar Ali Khan had apparently added to Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif’s inconvenience over Panama leaks by declaring him owner of Mayfair apartments in London.
Nisar had lambasted leader of the opposition in National Assembly (NA) Khursheed Shah and leader of theopposition in Senate Aitzaz Ahsan during a press conference in the federal capital.
While pointing out wrongdoings of the former government, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Nisar asked why the opposition’s leadership denied ownership of Surrey Palace for the longest time but accepted it before London court.
He called for accountability of all the parliamentarians irrespective of sides, government or the opposition.
He went on to say that numerous party meetings were held at the apartments. Even slain former prime minister, Benazir Bhutto had visited those flats, he added.
