ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan met with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday and briefed him over his recent visit to Britain and internal security situation of the country.
During the meeting, Chaudhry Nisar apprised the premier regarding progress in Imran Farooq murder case. Both also discussed ongoing targeted operation in Karachi and emerging situation after MQM’s refusal to hold talks with the government.
On Wednesday, the Interior Minister met his British counterpart in London and presented proof of Indian intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing’s (RAW) links with Pakistani politicians.
The British authorities assured full cooperation in investigating the claims.
