CM Shahbaz Inaugurates Second Phase Of Coal-Fired Project

SAHIWAL: Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif on Friday inaugurated the second phase of Coal-Fired project. Shahbaz Sharif inaugurate the 2nd phase of 1320 MW Coal-Fired project.

Addressing the cermony, CM Punjab said that Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz is committed to serve the nation.

While talking about Pak-China friendship, he told that Pak-China friendship is sweeter than honey, higher than the Himalayas and depper than the deepest sea in the world. According to details, Coal-Fired project is part of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

Second phase of 1320 MW Coal-Fired project will produce electricity by 2017. Earlier, After having a meeting with president of Chinese energy company on , Shahbaz Sharif said that 300 mega watts solar plant would be completed by the end of this year with Chinese cooperation.

He also revealed that solar project of 900 mega watts in Bahawalpur would be completed in the year 2016 and would start functioning at the end of same year.
