CM Sindh forms task force to thwart terrorism financing

KARACHI: Chief Minister of Sindh (CM) Qaim Ali Shah on Saturday has made a special task force over the identification of Rangers regarding assisting the terrorists by grabbing money from extortion, land mafia, China cutting, water stealing and drug dealing.

Rangers officials submitted a report to the apex committee revealing that terrorists are being facilitated by the money obtained from different criminal activities on which CM Sindh took notice and made a task force headed by Justice Ghulam Sarwar Korai to probe into the matter. The other members of the committee would be district and session judge Justice Arjun Ram and secretary to Sindh Home Minister Mukhtar Soomro.

Moreover, the committee would brief the CM over the possible steps to be taken to thwart financial support to terrorists.
