KARACHI: Dr Asim Hussain, ex-petroleum minister, was produced before Anti-Terrorism Court in a case pertaining to providing medical assistance to militants in his hospital in Karachi.
During the hearing, the counsel of Rangers expressed no confidence on investigation officer, accusing him of trying to benefit the prime suspect in the case.
The sealed record of Dr. Asim Hussain case was submitted to the court.
The other accused including Waseem Akhtar, Rauf Siddiqui and Usman Moazzam were also present during the hearing of the case.
The court issued show-cause notice to the NADRA official for not submitting the report regarding another accused Saleem Shehzad and adjourned the hearing till February 22.
