ISLAMABAD: A local court in Islamabad issued non-bailable arrest warrants on Friday for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s sound-man DJ Butt for violation of Section 144 and the Amplifier Act during the party’s sit-in in the federal capital last year.

Hearing the case today, judicial magistrate Waqas Rasheed issued non-bailable warrants for Butt for continuously remaining absent from court hearings and ordered authorities to present him in court on September 3.
