KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Faisal Vawda today called for the imposition of emergency in Karachi in the wake of a deadly attack on military police.

Two personnel embraced martyrdom when two masked men riding a motorcycle targeted a security vehicle on MA Jinnah Road near Tibet Center.

“Law and order situation has deteriorated in Karachi, where security forces are being killed,” Vawda said.

“Nobody including citizens, rangers and police are safe in the city. I demand that government hand over Karachi to army after imposition of emergency under Article 245,” PTI leader said.
