ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-s-Insaf (PTI) leader Jehangir Tareen on Saturday said that the government is trying to mislead the nation over the Form 15 issue, adding that the supplied copies of the Form 15 are suspicious.
Addressing a press conference at his residence, PTI’s Central Organizer said that the National Action Plan (NAP) was made after national consensus, adding that the Apex Committees are its parts that are working as per their mandates.
He said Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is afraid that their ‘key’ people will be caught and that is why, he said, PPP is objecting to Rangers’ activities this much.
Tareen said that copies provided by 11 Returning Officers (ROs) are suspicious. He said the Inquiry Commission will complete its tasks by July 3rd or 4th.
Talking about Gilgit-Baltistan elections, Tareen said that PTI hasn’t accepted the results of the Gilgit-Baltistan elections. He alleged that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz won in 10 constituencies against PTI because government machinery had aided them.
He said the army only provided security, and the elections were organized by the Chief Election Commissioner who, he claimed, is a PML-N worker.
