GUJRANWALA: Chairman Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan here on Thursday asked that National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to launch against corruption in Punjab.
Addressing PTI rally in Gujranwala, Imran Khan said that everyone want to see crackdown against corruption in Punjab.
Khan added that Sharif brothers fear accountability and Rangers operation in Punjab as they are corrupt. He said that the whole nation is looking towards NAB for crackdown against corruption.
PTI Chairman asked chairman NAB to investigate corruption in Orange Line Train project. He said that instead of wasting Rs 200 billion on Orange Line Train, the government must have invested this amount on farmers.
Imran further said that our farmers are facing financial problems. He said that expenses for farmers have increased adding that farmers are one of the most effected people. Imran Khan promised to arrest the corrupt people when his party came into power.
He said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) collect money from public and offers benefits to rich. He said that PTI will collect tax from rich, reduce inflation, GST.
Imran Khan went on to say that these mega corruption scandals had not come to the forefront before because the “Public Accounts Committee and NAB was controlled by PPP and PML-N.”
