LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MNA Hamza Shahbaz said on Wednesday that people had rejected Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s “politics or lies.”

Speaking at the inauguration of the NA-122 party office here, Hamza Shahbaz said Imran believes in the politics of sit-ins and rigging.

Hamza added that Ayaz Sadiq would be successful in the October 11 by-election in NA-122 and this will be the answer to those who had levelled rigging allegations.

“Ayaz Sadiq is contesting the election but where is the other candidate who had contested the election in 2013. That candidate is nowhere to be seen and someone else is contesting,” Hamza Shahbaz said.

Hamza Shahbaz further said the problems faced by people had increased because of sit-ins and politics of rigging. According to the PML-N MNA an audit of the Nandipur project was being carried out by a foreign company. “There can be mismanagement in this project but not mega corruption.”
