ISLAMABAD: After Panamanian law firm revealed hidden health of world leaders, including family of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has called upon the PM to step down.
“Nawaz Sharif must tender resignation… The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) should shut down its institution if it’s unable to take action on such a massive corruption.
He is likely to address a news conference in this regard today.
Earlier, through his verified Twitter account, the PTI Chairman urged Election Commission of Pakistan to take action regarding offshore assets of Sharif family.
“After The Guardian revelations Iceland’s prime minister resigning & snap elections in the offing. The ECP must move on this…. Our stance vindicated again as Sharif’s wealth stashed abroad exposed. NAB, FBR & ECP must take action,” he said in his tweet.
