ROJHAN: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan on Monday strongly criticized the Muslim league-Nawaz leadership during his visit to flood hit areas of South Punjab.
Addressing flood victims in Rojhan, Khan said Sharif brothers are reigning Punjab from their throne in Lahore completely indifferent to remote areas of the province.
He said flood affected Rahim Yar Khan and Rojhan but the government didn’t take any measures to avert damage.
“There should be a will not money to protect peasants who have been afflicted during the last two years ,” he said.
Mr Khan said government was focused on projects like Metro bus not willing to build embankments to prevent floods.
“Perhaps metro bus projects offer more commission than building embankments,” he added.
Speaking on the occasion, Imran Khan expressed resolve to fight for the rights and needs of common Pakistani.
