LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has vowed in latest statement to not let ‘corruption mafia’ go without penalty.
In a message to workers, Khan said he would announce his future strategy at party’s rally on April 24.
I initiated a crusade against corruption 20 years ago and will continue it until the country’s rid with this menace, Khan stressed.
Khan said his party would soon give its version over revelations in Panama Papers. The PTI chairman also invited women, elderly persons and children to his rally on Sunday.
We have to streamline governance in the country and uproot oppression and injustice from society, reiterated Imran Khan.
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan had earlier refused to allow PTI to hold its rally in Fatima Jinnah (F-9) Park on April 24, but later gave conditional approval to it.
The interior ministry announced last week that Chaudhry Nisar directed the capital administration to sit with the local leadership of the PTI to amicably resolve the matter.
He, however, said it should be guaranteed by the organisers that the participants would peacefully disperse after the stipulated time.
