JI to move SC over Panama Leaks

PESHAWAR: Jamat-e-Islami (JI) has announced to move Supreme Court over Panama Leaks on August 22.

Addressing a press conference JI Chief Siraj-ul-Haq urged the apex court to form a commission on Panama leaks and conduct an open trial.

He said PM Nawaz Sharif’s family has been alleged in Panama Leak papers, adding that JI wants accountability of all including the Premier.

Negotiations on Panama Leaks were just a delaying tactic of the government for getting more time. He accused the government for being non-serious on off-shore companies and Panama Leaks matter.

JI Chief went on to say corruption is on the rise as a result country is not getting prosper.

He appealed the general public to support JI for its drive against corruption as Jamaat leaders and workers were clear from allegations of corruption.
