Jinnah hospital’s paramedics strike over health allowance demand

KARACHI: Paramedical staff of Jinnah hospital in Karachi went on a strike today (Monday) to protest over health allowance demand.


The strike was observed on the appeal of Jinnah hospital and National Institution for Children paramedical staff’s joint action committee.

Patients and their relatives faced severe difficulties due to the closure of Outdoor Patient Departments (OPDs).

The protesters were of the view that they are not being provided with health allowance for a long time period however, if their demands are not fulfilled they will go for a further action plan.
