KARACHI: Journalists have been protesting outside a private hospital against the management, on National Stadium Road in Karachi after a scuffle with hospital authorities left several journalists injured.
The protest against the alleged aggressiveness of the hospital guards, has reportedly blocked traffic from National Stadium till New town.
According to police, two hospital guards who allegedly used violent force against the journalists have been taken into custody.
The scuffle began earlier in the day when journalists deployed at the hospital to report updates regarding the injured Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Abdul Rashid Godil were pushed out of the premises.
Sources said several journalists were injured as the situation got out of hand when the hospital guards became aggressive.
