BAGH: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari here on Tuesday slammed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and termed his policies’ as pro-India and anti-Kashmir. He called for the implementation of Kashmir Resolution.
Addressing a mass rally in Bagh, Azad Kashmir, Bilawal took to task Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and severely criticized him for the government’s pro-India policies. “Until he was sworn in as India’s Prime Minister, Modi was considered as a terrorist by many countries around the world and was also denied visas,” he said. “However, Mian sahab went to his swearing-in ceremony without any regard to the man who had murdered so many Muslims in Gujarat,” he stated.
Bilawal also questioned as to why even after sixty-seven years, the Kashmir resolution was not being implemented and demanded that Kashmiris must be given the right to make choices that would affect their future. Bilawal also said that Nawaz Sharif’s policies were pro-India and anti-Kashmir.
He criticized Nawaz Sharif for attending Modi’s swearing-in ceremony but refusing to meet members of the Hurriyat conference. “However, you did not fail to meet steel traders during your visit, did you?” he asked. Bilawal also slammed the PM for not uttering a single word when a RAW agent was arrested from Balochistan. “You thought him to be a bird and did not speak out a single word against him Mian sahib,” said Bilawal.
Pakistan People’s Party’s election rally in Azad Kashmir’s Bagh turned into a celebratory event when the party workers come to know that Ali Hyder Gillani, the abducted son of former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gillani, has been recovered safely from kidnappers in Afghanistan’s Ghazni district in a security operation Pakistan People Party (PPP) is holding a public meeting in Bagh town of Azad Kashmir in connection with the party’s campaign for the upcoming elections in the region.
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari reached to the venue of the public meeting at Bagh College ground, along with former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gillani. Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, PPP leaders Farial Talpur, Jahangir Badar, Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Abdul Majeed and other party leaders were present at the party rally.
The PPP leaders congratulated Gillani on safe recovery of his abducted son after three years. Former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gillani addressing the meeting said that when he was in helicopter to travel to Bagh, he was telephoned and informed about the good news about the safe release of his son Ali Hyder Gillani in Afghanistan. Ali Hyder Gillani was kidnapped on May 09, 2013 ahead of an election rally, a few days before the general elections in Pakistan.
Gillani said that he decided to meet the people of Kashmir before meeting his freed son Ali Hyder. He said that the struggle for the independence of Kashmir will reach to a successful end.
