QUETTA: Former finance advisor Khalid Langove Friday announced resignation from the Balochistan Assembly.
Khalid Langove, who is in the NAB custody on corruption charges, was speaking at the session of the provincial assembly. He said that he rejected the corruption charges and said that he wanted to quit the provincial assembly.
He said, “ten years ago, we were opposing Pakistan. But after electing as member of the provincial assembly, I have taken oath of loyalty to Pakistan”. He said that he would contest election agian and go to poeple of his constituency.
He said that he has spent 73 days in the jail. Chief Minister Balochistan Sanaullah Zehri requested him to withdraw his resignation as quitting assembly was not right decision. He said that jails are second home of the politicians.
