ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria says India’s current belligerence is aimed at diverting the world attention from the grave situation prevailing in Occupied Kashmir.
In an interview on Saturday, he said the international community, including the UN Secretary General, Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and Amnesty International had expressed concern over the worst human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir, which brought India under pressure.
The Spokesperson said the Pakistani and the Kashmiri Diaspora in the United States, Europe, and other parts of the world sensitized the world community over the Indian forces’ brutalities in Occupied Kashmir.
He said over one hundred Kashmiris have been martyred, and over 800 others deprived of eyesight due to pellet shots during the last under-curfew three months.
He said the international community must see who benefited from the Uri attack. He said the Indian lies are being exposed, leading to its bafflement.
To a question, the Spokesperson said India has a track record of becoming a hurdle in the process of SAARC summit as it caused postponement of the summit for five to six times.
