Last lunar eclipse of 2016 today in Pakistan, other regions

KARACHI: The final lunar eclipse of 2016 will occur on Friday.

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, the eclipse will be visible in all regions of Pakistan as well as from Africa, Asia, Australia, West Pacific Island and in Europe.

The eclipse will begin at 9:55pm and will be at its peak at 11:55pm however; it will end at 01:54am.

The moon will then be seen in its original form.

Experts have said that the approximate duration of the lunar eclipse will be three hours and 59 minutes.

Although, sky will be clear in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Punjab, Azad Kashmir, Sindh, South Punjab and Balochistan.
